I used to associate journaling strictly with mornings, but it doesn't have to be that way. Now, I spend at least 10 minutes journaling my feelings whenever possible. This habit helps me get in tune with who I am, what I'm grateful for, and what I want to achieve.

Habit 2: Practicing Mindfulness
After my kids were born, I found it challenging to be present in the moment. If I was working after they got home, I felt guilty for not being with them.
When I was with them, I felt I should be working. This constant tug-of-war made me lose touch with myself. Practicing mindfulness has been a game-changer. By being aware of my thoughts and focusing on the present, I have developed a unique awareness of who I am and what I should be doing.
This clarity helps me balance my responsibilities without guilt.
Habit 3: Regular Physical Exercise
I used to feel that once I dropped the kids off at school, I needed to get straight to work, feeling guilty if I didn't. But I’ve learned the importance of taking care of my body.
I absolutely love the gym and weightlifting. When I don’t go, my body feels different—less energetic and more stressed. To make it work with my schedule, I go right after I drop the girls off at school. This routine not only keeps me fit but also mentally sharp and ready to tackle the day.
Implementing these habits has helped me reclaim my identity and find balance in my life.
